ID-WALL Murals are digitally printed on a high quality non woven paper (paste the wall) with special properties:
- significantly stronger than normal (wall)paper
- contains no substances harmful to health or the environment and is biodegradable
- can be removed dry providing the correct adhesive has been used.
With our special production method we produce rolls with a width of 46.5 cm. If the decor consists of a number of panels, a number of panels are rolled together on one roll. All panels are numbered on the top side. These panels must be used in the numbered order from left to right. Normally each consecutive panel is turned 180 degrees. As a result any difference in colour shade is avoided.
If the whole height and/or width of the decor is not to be used, it is advised to determine which part is to be used and where to start beforehand. If possible, first unroll the panels on the ground.
Before hanging, first inspect the wall covering for any errors or defects. No complaints concerning panels already applied will be accepted.
Wall surface – surface preparation
The surface must be dry, smooth, clean and evenly absorbent. With decors with light surfaces, colour variations in the surface can show through! These colour differences must first be neutralised. Do not apply on top of already existing wallpaper under any circumstances!
Smooth out any holes or unevenness in rough surfaces.
Adhesive – hanging
Evenly spread the adhesive with a roller on the wall and apply the dry wall covering.
The adhesive must be applied to the wall with a width of a little more than one panel. Apply the first panel perpendicular and smooth with a rubber roller or spatula to remove any air bubbles. Apply all following panels tight to the previous ones.
The usual hanging method can also be used. Apply glue but do not allow to soak in.
Caution : Immediately remove any patches of adhesive with a wet sponge and dab dry.

The Superior product goes beyond the common sandwiching or bonding of a print on to acrylic. Images are printed directly to the material, creating a semi-transparent “canvas” that stands proud of the backboard and wall mount onto which it is fixed by means of four sturdy wall fixing metal studs.
This means that light interacts with the image, which is therefore backlight and creates an almost 3-dimensional effect. The process is particularly effective for the display of monochrome or minimalist images as the white background is replaced by the crystal clear background of the acrylic, giving a feeling of perpetual depth.
Acrylic prints are very durable. The printing process creates a layer of long lasting ink. The inks are inkjet printed directly to the reverse of the acrylic and cured in place using ultra violet light. The inks are light stable to a level that exceeds normal art printing processes by some margin.
Edge finish – 10mm thickness, flame polished by hand with a 60 degree bevel edge to give a soft frame to the whole acrylic print.
Backboard - acrylic backboards are hard 3mm thick gloss piece of white acrylic, the same size as the acrylic print.
Wall mount - acrylic wall mounts complete the piece of wall art. The wall mount provides a luxurious contemporary presentation for the print. The over-sized piece of coloured acrylic is 75mm / 3 inches larger all around the picture and set 18mm / 3/4 inch from the wall.
